Yin Yoga
Yin poses target the connective tissue and ligaments located deeper in the body than the muscles. This requires us to sit in a pose passively for longer holds, from 2-5 minutes per side. Restorative Yin means that we use a variety of yoga props to create a "landing pad" which supports the body as it releases into the deep Yin pose. Perfect for creating a meditative healing space, Restorative Yin is a great choice for students looking to improve flexibility as well as people dealing with stress, fatigue, illness, injury, or chronic pain.
